Written language impairments in primary progressive aphasia: Difference between Kanji and Kana in Japanese

The goal of this study is to investigate writing and reading impairments of kanji (morphogram) and kana (phonogram) in Japanese-speaking patients with primary progressive aphasia (PPA) and to elucidate the mechanisms underlying written language impairment in PPA.
