The aim of this project is to investigate the longitudinal progression of the three main primary progressive aphasia variants –nonfluent/agrammatic, semantic, and logopenic– as well as of behavioral variant of Frontotemporal dementia and amnestic Alzheimer’s disease. Particular focus will be placed on the longitudinal performance in the Screening for Aphasia in Neurodegeneration (SAND) battery, to map the evolving language profiles characteristic of each subtype. These real-word data will be integrated with multimodal neuroimaging analyses.
