The role of EEG as a biomarker for the outcome of patients with chronic post stroke aphasia

The aim of this research is to evaluate the role of EEG as a biomarker for aphasia in Arabic speakers through:

  1. Assessment of the resting state EEG changes that occur in cases of chronic post-stroke aphasia as compared to healthy age-matched controls.
  2. Assessment of the EEG changes following tDCS and its correlation with the clinical outcome by aphasia screening scale.
